NFT COLLECTION
In 2020, during the pandemic, I began researching Web3, which had been developing for some time but gained massive traction in those years. I explored various platforms that allowed sharing digital pieces—animations, illustrations, photographs—and started understanding how NFTs worked.
At first, I thought I would need to adapt my digital art style to fit what was commonly used in NFTs, but after some time, I chose to experiment with pieces I had been creating since 2016 for Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram. These works combined digital art techniques with records of my dance, allowing me to explore another facet within the spectrum of being a dancer.
I uploaded my first nine pieces on Foundation.app, which turned out to be among the earliest dance-related NFTs in history and among the first created by a dancer. As a pioneer of that initial wave of dance NFTs, I continued experimenting with different pieces over the years, and it remains a practice I always return to.
